Vessel Management

OrbitSailor enables vessel tracking based on custom-defined lists of vessels, allowing you to create and modify these lists as needed. You can upload lists in CSV format, including MMSI and/or IMO numbers (at least one identifier is required). OrbitSailor automatically resolves the appropriate IMO-MMSI pairs for accurate tracking.

Vessel Lists in OrbitSailor

You can create and manage multiple lists of vessels in OrbitSailor. Each list must be linked to a specific group, which serves as the "owner" of the list. A single list can be utilized across multiple services, eliminating the need to duplicate lists.

Add a new list of vessels

You can quickly add a new vessel list by logging in with an account that has admin rights. Simply upload a CSV file containing the relevant vessel data, and provide a group and name for the vessel list.

Remove a list of vessels

Update a list of vessels

This operation cannot be undone.

You can update your vessel list at any time by replacing the existing list with a new one. This process involves uploading an updated or new CSV file, which will completely replace the current vessel list.
